Everybody does it. He only gets picked up on it because he is high profile. Total storm in a tea cup from blinkered social media types.

Not in the way he does; look at Cavani at the end of the FA cup game. He is smart he wins the free kick by backing in. What Kane has been doing is completely different and endangering opponents - there was a clip of 7 or 8 of them doing the rounds a while ago and very lucky there isnt a serious injury.

There is no excuse for this (I just searched for "Kane backing in"

I could find loads of incidents exactly the same by other players if I could be bothered. But I can't.

Kane score goals
Slag him off for being a one season wonder
Kane scores goals
Slag him off for being a flat track bully
Kane scores goals
Slag him off for talking funny
Kane scores goals
Slag him off for 'backing in'

Can you see the pattern?

They aren't mutually inclusive things though. Anyone who argues the one season wonder etc; is simply and idiot. This is entirely different.

This shouldn't be belittled as mocking him, or hammering him for because he is Harry Kane. This is dangerous play. He continues to put players health at risk to cheat his way to frees and penalties. Yes, Salah, Mane and many more cheat their way to deceive referees, but this is entirely different as Harry Kane has put careers at risk. If this continues & expands in terms of other players doing it with a similar frequency a broken neck or serious injury is inevitable.

It's not a pattern of blaming Kane, it's something that has come to light and needs to be stopped. Dont conflate the two

So you are suggesting Harry Kane is the only player that does it/has done it?

But there is no anti-Kane agenda?

Suarez did it all the time. So did Drogba. Liverpool fans hate Harry Kane because he gets the majority of the media attention when he’s away with England whereas most of their players have been terrible for England including Henderson which is why he’s not captain. That’s why all these ridiculous agendas come up against him. It’s the same with Pogba. If any player is taking their precious media limelight off them they start to fume and find ridiculous ways to discredit them.

No I am not; but what he certainly is the most frequent offender and he executes it with particular levels of danger to the opponent.

His profile may have brought it to the attention of the wider public, but that does make it an anti-kane agenda; its an anti-danger & potentially career ending injury agenda. Simple as that

Two divers for sure, but with neither of them can I recall consistently endangering the opposition by doing this. They key point with what Kane does, is he waits till they are in the air to cheat and nick this free. There is a reason tackling in the air was banned in rugby & that is a niche that Kane has nailed.

As I said above, backing in and "winning" a free as Cavini did at the weekend is absolutely fine, part of the game etc etc. What is different is Cavani didnt cause risk to Fabinho (i think), but turning him 180 degress while he is in the air.

I agree that loads do it. It's a quality that any decent striker has to have in their locker. That said there is backing in and then there is waiting for the player to be high enough that when contact is initiated they are going to go horizontal and therefore hit the ground with their upper body first. This is dangerous and the fact he looks first and makes no attempt to jump, basically it's bang to rights.

Accidental injuries are part of the game, this is deliberate. If he continues he will do someone lasting damage. He is good enough to scrap it and still be a top player. I hope he does.

Suarez did it all the time. Used to drive me mad. He never jumped for the ball. At best he’d nudge the opposition defender under it and then bring it down when the player missed it, but at worst he’d jump comically early and then back into the defender jumping properly to try and win a foul or see him go over the ball. It is dangerous and it’s not right that Kane does it but he’s not the only one doing it, most forwards who can’t compete in the air are contesting for high balls in dangerous and illegal methods. What’s odd about Kane is he probably could win his fair share of flick ons if he tried to compete.
