Spurs

I’d like to get to that position a lot more times to have the decision on how feel about it.

We get knocked out of things by Millwall.

I’m really not a fan of people saying Spurs bottled the Champions League final when we can’t even get near the top 4 to even get into that competition.

I would too.. and if can't call spurs bottlers we can't say anything about Liverpool either really

So if all the best players should only play for teams that will win stuff the rest of us might as well this in the towel now.

It is dead funny this,we have lads who fume and froth at the mouth when anyone dare suggest that anyone who plays for us should move onto a club who win trophies (Rooney waves and says hi)

At the end of the day I would love to be where you are now, you are way ahead of us in terms of......well everything! And I don't see that changing anytime soon.

That's the thing ijjy, we slag other teams off when in all reality we have no right too.

Wish we got into the positions to choke it as often as spurs do.

We’re miles away. Absolutely miles away.
The only way is down for them tho.
There players are running down there contracts to get higher wages at other clubs.
Pochettino could leave aswell.

Spurs have never been better placed for success than they are right now, so “the only way is down” is nonsense. The caveat to that is keeping Poch. Having said that even if he went they are a much better attraction for another top manager than they have been before.

The one thing the club needs is a collective shift in mentality. Remember all the “Poch to United” talk last season and thinking why the hell would he go there...but Spurs fans were almost resigned to it. They need to think like a big club.

Spurs made the transition and bridged the gap that made the top 4 into a top 6.
The other team being Billionaires that kept throwing money at it.

To have closed the gap in the first place is down to a good chairman and a well run club. They have a good development system and do not often pay massive transfer fees. Poch has bought many players in young with potential and there is no doubt they are a damn good team at times.

So what they are lacking is the Cantona effect. A leader and figure head of quality to take them further. I would contest they need to upgrade at centre back and holding midfield to be a better package. The problem they have is that those players are already playing for the top teams.

I do not like Spurs, but they have achieved what we should aspire to - breaking into that elite top group.
And if we ever do it wont be Spurs dropping out.

If they keep going, they will win something.

And just because they bottled a game agaisnt the RS......my gawd we have done that 15 times out of the last 20!
