I could do with Lennon and to a lesser extent Huddlestone but where would you play Huddlestone? Carsley's spot? If he's a centerback, no improvement over Jags, Yobo, or Lescott either.

Yea he'd be groomed to take over for Carsley. I'd take Huddlestone (say 4M?) but would rather have Bradley (however if Heevereen gets to the C-League I could see Bradley not getting sold).

these players might not take any players spot.. but if we get in to europe again we don't want the season to unravel again due to a few key injuries. we need quality players beyond the starting 11.

i think we should be seriously looking at huddlestone, we need a midfielder who can tackle, win headers, and make a good pass. if we could get him for anything under 5 mill, i'd say it would be a good investment, as he would certainly fill a hole in the squad. Bent is a good player but would be too costly, the same can be said for Lennon.

I agree with trying to get huddlestone - he ticks a lot of the boxes that people say need filling for us to progress: big, tall, replacement for carsley, can shoot from distance, tackles, good range of passing etc. If Moyes can get Yakubu looking half fit and running about for the team then i'm sure he can keep Huddlestone in line, and bring out the best in him.

Sadly, there's no way that Spurs would consider offloading Huddlestone, Ramos seems to rate him very highly, we've got no chance.Every player has his price but his would be astronomical.

WWell, according to the rags, these players are ready to be shipped out by Ramos. Id certainly think Bent would be a decent addition to the side

Bent would be a great signing. Not so sure about the other two though-Lennon has so much pace but thats pretty much it in my opinion, and I'm undecided on Huddlestone.

When we played Spurs, Valente had Lennon off all game, and Valente is [Poor language removed]! Having said that, I like Lennon, I think he could be a useful player given the right price, and Huddlestone, although I've got a hankering for Michael Bradley instead for that role, but that's just my personal preference.

Not Bent though, he's gay (there's a clue in his surname).
