Puts pur situation into a bit of context, ive only seen bits and peices of the lad, looks talented but hasnt fullfilled his full potenial, they must rate him highly and think he could be worth more then that in the long term - Spurs are far from Mugs.

headline figure looks amazing but over a 5 year deal its what 8 or 9 mill a year so if the lad comes good all is well if not no doubt theres a buy out clause i've long since stopped looking at "headline" transfer figures tbh because they're misleading.

BK has spent less than tha in his time ;P

But honestly i've never got the "cult" of redknapp he is to me an average manager who stop west ham getting relegated a coule of times by buying john hartson and paul kitson for silly money on deadline day moons ago.

Given the dosh he's thrown around at spurs they SHOULD be top 4 team even more but i write this just after spurs have been slapped 4-0 by fulham.

Like i say i just dont get it,to me he's average at best,nice looking daughter in law though

I'd love Spurs to blow that kind of money on Aguero, who is sensationally overrated. Not a bad player but certainly not THAT good.

If they're prepared to bid that, I'd pay the same money and go for Torres who is the proven striker over here.

Rossi is above average but hardly world class; I would have though Llorente would be the significantly cheaper option. If they blew £30m+ on Llorente I'd be astonished.
