Spurs agree to be an official Real Madrid feeder club

Can't help but feeling that although there is a lot of positives it could end up holding Tottenham back a little bit. When Madrid come calling for one of their big players then they willl most likely leave. When you're trying to be a top 4 club and then push onto the title like Tottenham would like then you really don't want that. Of course in the short term it will be great by getting in quality players on loan/youngsters on the cheap but i wouldn't be surprised if Madrid put in a buy back clause if they did well. Levy is a great business man purely on business, but is he the right man in a purely footballing interest? I'm still wary.

Any club now bidding for a Real Madrid player, Spurs have first comms with the player if they are willing to match the bid.

Wont work out lomg term. Never does. What, exactly, can Spurs offer RM that they dont already have first dibs on? Just stroking Spurs/David Levys ego IMO.
