What on earth is going on here?

Have we forgotten how to play, or has Moyes told them to do nothing but defend?

Howard is giving the ball away too much with the hoof.

Need to start keeping posession, and find our shape and timing.

moyes isn't stupid, in this situation it mathematically makes sense to go for unless we're confident we can keep a clean sheet away, and considering we haven't kept a clean sheet in a long time, i doubt thats moyes' plan.

whatevers causing the players to play so defensively is going on on the pitch, moyes has nothing to do with it, though he is the one responsible for fixing it

ffs we can barely execute a throw-in correctly.
 

I'm hoping that we are weathering a furious storm from Sporting and then we'll break them apart in the latter parts of the game. That is if we can hold on?
 

Getting caned in the possession stat..lucky so far the defence is holding, somewhat.

Come on Everton, settle it down and let the midfield do their thing!
