just read the official guide for the trip, one thing jumped right out at me,are fans getting kept in after the game for 30-40 minutes , but no buses back so familiarise yourself with this map back. hope there is more to it than that that's just asking for a hiding ,if people are not sure were to go or what to do, hope they have some form of escort ,if not its going to be a walk back for the faint hearted.

That's exactly how I read it too.
There's essentially one road all the way to the main touristy centre, you'd assume that road would be crawling with police as most will be heading that way. If not it would very much seem like the only priority is to make sure there's no risk of violence before or during the game that could jeopardize anything, afterwards they're not so worried.

Just want to tell you few things.
Hajduk fans were in Liverpool for few days without any incident.
Something about 2000 our fans were welcomed i Liverpool and your fans will be welcome in Split too.
You will have fan zone for your fans in beautiful part of town.
All media hipe about incident during the first game was exaggerated.
Yes, we have ultra hard core group in Torcida, but they never fight with "women and children" as I read here, that is not true and never hapened, so noone will attack you if you are in Everton shirt or drinking beer and singing your songs, when you are "family tipe" fan or "regular" fan and if ypu are not ultra style looking for trouble.
I read here many disgusting and untrue things about Split, Croatia, Hajduk, so I just wanted to tell you that things are not black or white always...
Split is beautiful town on adriatic coast, the whole region is full of tourists from whole world, we are not nazi lovers or racist or violence idiots...
I wish you all safe and nice trip to Split and lovely time here, but I (still) hope so that we can win ;-)
