Intrepid Evertonian fundraiser ‘Speedo Mick’ has completed his 100-mile five day walk from London to Bournemouth the night before the Blues FA Cup fifth round tie against the Cherries.

The super-fit 50-year-old from Dovecot – real name Michael Cullen – has been collecting charity donations all season for Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust in Liverpool by attending Everton matches in swimming trunks, cap and goggles.

His latest venture was in aid of Julia’s House, the Dorset and Wiltshire Children’s Hospices, and he Tweeted to confirm his arrival at Bournemouth at 6:31pm on Friday evening.

Now living in the capital, the lighting engineer doesn’t have a season ticket so he moves around from game to game, surprising his neighbours in the stands

Everton’s last visit to Bournemouth in November for a Premier League game inspired a home supporter to don a pair of red trunks and join in tribute to Mick to help his good causes.

Mick is aiming to raise £20,000 of charity donations on his Just Giving page and at the time of writing he was on 97% towards his target with £19,428 pledged.

apparently Aaron lennon got asked by a fan at finch farm the other day to give his shirt to mick, good on Lennon he did his bit,but two young kids stood in font of Speedo had a scrap for the shirt(it was on the telly) the lad mick has played it down saying the kids deserve that shirt too,but if anyone on here knows the youngsters maybe ask them to do the right thing?he'd more than likely auction it for charity!

It's not worth chasing the kids down for the shirt now.
