Anyone planning on cooking anything different for the festivities?

Planning on some individual bacon and leek pies after sampling some just outside Belfast a few weeks ago, and some Manchester Eggs I saw on some programme about Street Food.....black pudding and pork sausages mixed around a pickled egg and then deep fried. Both for Xmas eve buffet....any other ideas?

I dreamt up a cross between pigs in blanket and stuffing the other day that I'll be making.

Make a load of stuffing with far too much sausage meat in there, roll into a large sausage shape (I'm thinking rolling pin sized) then wrap generously in streaky smoked bacon and roast.

Slice and serve.

I've got a cracker for Boxing Day or even Christmas night

Get two slices of bread and lightly butter

Then get some cold turkey from the days bird, nice thick slices and place them on the bread and cover with the other slice of bread,at this point you can cut in half either diagonal or straight, now your ready to serve

The great thing about this recipe is it's easy to do and can last up to two weeks until you run out of turkey

Enjoy......

The M-I-L wrapped the stuffing in cabbage leaves last year, that was excellent.

Making a lamb tagine for boxing day.

I'm going to take a Crunchie and a Curly Wurly from the selection box and eat them both together in the same go

I'm gonna try a bit of autoerotic asphyxiation with a Terry's Chocolate Orange.

I'm gonna cut a hole in the bottom of a quality street tin and ask people to dig in a find a big purple one
Trying all of these but...

If I tried that they'd only find a green triangle.

Dafuq?
