Why would you hire someone who no speaka dee English? I deal with Mexicans a fair bit and I don't speak a word of Spanish, trying to speak through my Mexican colleague is tedious and doesn't always lead to getting your point across.

i think it makes sense to get rid of him now before the transfer window closes, and it makes sense to have the new manager prepared and ready to start immediatly.
Atkins will get another job comfortably, he has a strong track record.

If sacking Adkins isn't mad enough after he's started getting results, Bringing in a replacement who was sacked in November because Español were bottom of the Spanish league is certifiable. Pocchetino looks like he might be a good manager to me but his CV isn't exactly shiny.

Didnt he finish last with Espanyol? That's a decent sized club too. Sounds like someone who could use an 8 year contract IMO.
