Southampton players banned for sat

Last year we would be smelling blood right about now.

Southampton are, in all honesty, the wounded gazelle limping behind the pack right now. 5 losses on the spin and with most of their key players injured or carrying niggles.

As the predator we should be bounding across the open plain, jaws wide open anticipating an easy kill, the fear of the inevitable etched across their resigned face.

What will actually happen is we'll saunter down to the gazelle, pop a bandage and some savlon on his leg and even give him a lift to return him to his pack.

This sounds so John Merro it's unbelievable

Their youths are generally more ready to make the step up than ours are.

Southampton have a fantastic academy but so do we, ours just isn't as famous in the media. Pretty sure it will be in a few years when Ledson, Long, Kenny, Dowell, Browning etc. have come through if they make it.

We should be winning tomorrow and comfortably considering which players are out for them, that's even regardless of form. We're Everton too so we'll make it easy as possible for them.

I hope they are getting a little leg heavy coming out of the gate so fast. This is a must win for us to see were we really stand this year. I think we will prevail in a businesslike way. COYB

We should deffo dominate the midfield and be taking the game to Saints tomorrow looking at their injuries.

But then, it's situations like these that worry me most as an Evertonian.

In fairness its situations like everything that worry me most as an Evertonian!

Apparently they could play Alderweireld in CM and play Yoshida at CB. That seems like its even worse than playing their youths would be.

Yoshida has looked absolutely awful every time I've seen him.

With the amount of suspensions and injuries Soton have, we really should be going there wanting the 3 points.

Anything less will be a big disappointment.

Yep,that sound's right, ive actually been thinking all week that this will end 2-2,i would like to think we will win, and off course hope we do.but when the odd thing IE some of there players go out to make us look favs,it just works the opposite way with us.score 1st and i think we go on and win.

This game, I can predict in my head, we take early lead, the second half a defensive mistake from dustbin following the Southampton high pressing game .

A draw isn't a bad result tomorrow, me thinks

I cant make up my mind until I have read a full, detailed, match preview with photos of, in no particular order, Mick Channon, Lawrie McMennamy, and probably at least one in black and white.

ffs @chicoazul

Another absolutely must win game, we simply cannot drop points in games like this!

I really hope Rom has a big game.

I think we'll see Barry in for Mirallas. Naisy move to the wing and Ross play behind Lukaku.
