Surprisingly some of the soundest people I've met on my travels. It was the aussies who were the dickheads when I thought it was the other way around.

aussies, muslims, eastern europeans, the irish...your list of hatred grows by the day

Worked with one South African once. Dodgy as [Poor language removed].

I'd had a late night the night before and was knackered and kept yawning and stuff, then this Springbok got out this thing that looked like a test tube and pulled out what I thought was a mint and he said "Here mate, have one of these, it's got MDMA in it. It'll wake you right up". I was like "Oh right, cheers mate".

Threw it straight in the bin. Mad [Poor language removed].

So I'm guessing they all hated Mandela too right? You must have had a ball swapping swastikas.

There are quite a few South African's here in NZ, and they have all been great (except one, who had some personal hygiene issues), but South African's in general don't have the best reputation here.

Which is completely mad as there are great and terrible members of every race and nationality.

Never said I hated mandela. I'm just sceptical about whether we should blindly love a man with a very questionable past, whether his cause was justified or not. I'm indifferent to the guy.

And neil, personal experience shapes all of our views, and I've never said I 'hated' every single one of those people belonging to those groups. I've just had a few negative experiences. Think we all have with at least 2 of those you listed.

Everyone i met on Rugby tour in South Africa were absolutely safe, white and black. Except the Afrikaaners who were plain and simply pr!cks. All my opinion obviously.
