Some optimism...

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Cleverley. I like the way he receives the ball, and opens himself up to shift the ball, I like that his first look is almost always forwards. His 5 yard pass only happens if the forward pass isn't on. That's a positive thing.

To counteract that though, we don't currently have the striker with the movement to take advantage. (apart from Naismith, who'd be better off not being there and getting in the way)

right now we are fifth in the league. Alphabetically!
Suppose Bournmouth replaced Burnley above us - I am sure someone will know if this is our highest starting position - it certainly feels like it!

we've got players like Baines, Stones, Coleman, Jagielka, Barkley, Deulofeu, Mirallas, McCarthy and Lukaku that would walk into most sides into the league
and it's possible some of them could do just that before the end of the window

Sticking my neck out here.

Cups. Just have a feeling.

And a planning application at the turn of the year..........

I think Besic will kick on. I think Cleverley will continue to impress. I think Rom will score 20 league goals.

And I think one of the Sky 4 wont finish in the top 4. City probably. Or United.
