Reading between the lines, I get the feeling Moyes is holding the process up of Martinez sorting his backroom staff out here. I dont think he's able to bring his people in before Moyes takes who he's going to take from the existing backroom.

So much for the 'clearing the decks for my successor' as was promised by him. It must be pretty frustrating for Martinez right now.
