Can anyone help me, I need some solar eclipse glasses for my primary school class on Friday? The cheapest I can get them so far is £150 for 21 which is just ridiculous as it would have to come out of my pocket, not the schools. However I really don't want these kids to miss out on a once in a life time moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I know some places were giving them free or cheap to local schools.

Seriously.

You still can't look at the sun through this though. Well from what I read

Of course not, you put your head through the box and look at the paper, facing away from the Sun.

Costs about £1 a box to make using the directions in the link above.

Does it work pretty well yeah with the box? Might try that then and get the kids to make them a few days before. Nice one mate!

Works OK, adds the wonder of "how the hell is that happening?" too, without burning retinas which is an added bonus.
