The Europa League, no sod that, the UEFA cup, seems to be small fish nowadays. All eyes are on the Champions League and even the Cup winners Cup is now defunct having gone out at the turn of the century.
The uefa cup seems sneered upon by some, it's all to do with the European Cup, Chelsea this, Manchester that, teams like ourselves and Fulham hardly get a look in I've found recently.
Unless I fell out of a tree the night before, I understand the Athens game was not on any terrestrial channel, only PPV, i thought it may have been on Channel 5, it wasn't.
Even the Fulham game was shown on another channel, non Sky.
Everybody knows how hard this competition is to win, it's really going to have to be a mammoth effort the way it stands to carry this one off this season.
