No idea lad, you haven't said whether you were one of the snides or not, they seem to remain anonymous....

Mate, it's little coloured boxes, ignore them and they will go away. Instead you start every time bleating on about some clique which has been done before, beards ago.

You say things and stuff and people say stuff and things back and some don't agree. Sound, leave them to it.

fair enough

You can get offended if it makes you feel better, but the American people could care less whether BP is a British Company or not. They could care less if Halliburton is an American company.

By the way, Obama took a lot of grief about his handling of it so don't think there's some sort of double standard. And to repeat, there are lots of people in this country who don't think highly of Halliburton.

This is true.. most people I've talked to just wanted someone to pay for the lives of the people who were lost on the RIG and those poor F*****G Fish that died.

When Haliburton's name is associated with something, Americans cringe... No one cares for that company and the name alone is shady.

.

And Obama was hugely guilty of misrepresenting the facts. By what he was implying, in the media last summer. ESPECIALLY what with the facts now showing that an American company was massively to blame.

Obama is a tool, as are all politicians from both sides of the pond.. Misrepresenting the facts is their J.O.B.

Could be a lucrative career decision, think about it

And the money quote in your initial post:

You mean our media ignored a story that didn't fit their narrative?

Well I never....

I've alot of respect for you Tex. Because you say it as it is.

I'm just hopeful average joe in America isn't silly enough to associate the disaster with "BRITISH".

That's the point. Because the way things were going in the summer, you'd have thought we were trying to destroy America.

And subsequent facts show that Halliburton's evasion of "corporate responsibility" was self evident.

DISGRACE

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-12005240

The companies targeted in the lawsuit are BP Exploration and Production Inc, Anadarko Exploration & Production LP, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, MOEX Offshore 2007 LLC, Triton Asset Leasing GMBH, Transocean Holdings LLC, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling Inc, Transocean Deepwater Inc and QBE Underwriting Ltd/Lloyd's Syndicate 1036 - BP's insurer.

The key accusations are:

Failing to take necessary precautions to keep the Macondo Well under control in the period leading up to the April 20th explosion
Failing to use the best available and safest drilling technology to monitor the well's conditions
Failing to maintain continuous surveillance
Failing to use and maintain equipment and material that were available and necessary to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, equipment, natural resources, and the environment
Halliburton, the company that cemented the Macondo Well, and Cameron International, which provided equipment for the well, were not targeted in the lawsuit.

POLITICALLY MOTIVATED!

Halliburton's escaping prosecution.

I WONDER WHY?

WIKILEAKS GET ON IT!
