Snow

All I'm going to say mate is that a prediction for snow a week in advance is as reliable as Beto in front of goal with a ball zipped in from outwide.
The BBC weather is normally ultra cautious when predicting snow. It's been forecast for the last few days, and if anything is becoming more solid.

The BBC weather stuff literally changes what it previously said, day by day. Probably say it will be sunny on those days in the next few odd
I'm on a weather forum where they have all the weather computer models, and all are in agreement at the moment for the cold weather. Of course as it's the British weather things usually turn out the exact opposite.

I little of topic, but I hate snow and will be going to 3 different places in the next 30 days where the probability of snow is high.

It's predicted to be cold, I'll give you that, however the MMU currently have no snow predicted for RAF Woodvale or John Lennon Airport.

The caveat being that, like I said before, a prediction that far in advance isn't reliable beyond notifying cold, major storms or 'perhaps' precipitation.

Why ?

It’s no different than Goodison or any other stadium when the weather is snowy or icy ?

All of the same precautions and preventive measures apply - gritting etc.

Just thought because the staff haven't had to deal with snow + thousands of people in this location before, it may present an issue. Each situation is different, etc. My mistake.

The Mail and Express make a point of publishing lurid headlines warning of Arctic weather on the way in order to scare the old and frail who form their main readership.
Then it turns out it was indeed snowing.........in the Outer Hebrides.
