How crap is this country? Bit of snow and the whole country can't cope. Half the workforce pray for a day off and look for any excuse not to leave their house, the networks collapse.

It's pathetic.

My mate live in Canada and they have -20 degrees and [Poor language removed] loads of snow. Don't hear them complaining.
 

Probably because they're used to that kind of thing in Canada and have the infrastructure to cope with it - studded tyres in winter, more snowploughs etc.

We're at least supposed to have enough rock salt this year. :lol:

I call it a country unable to cope with **** all.
 
I miss snow days at school. I remember one day where it was really snowy, but school wasn't cancelled, so at break time about 50 of us decided to just run out school and go hang out up the hills. Had the police looking for us and everything. Snow sends everyone mental.
 

-10 here last night, took about an hour for my fingers to thaw out after de icing the car this morning, promised the same for tonight so if any of you nice gentlemen want to come and do it for me tomorrow i leave for work about 7.45am xx

I would no doubt.. Unfortunately, I'm thousands of miles away..
 
We had a little bit of rain yesterday. Maybe for a hour and even then it was only 24 degrees.

I really do know how your feeling up there, mates.
