..I thought it was the drainpipe. Lovely, amazing creature.
Only a python, not poisonous, Its a squeezer, but if it does bite you, you can get your standard 'animal bites you' infections.
Every so often I'll find a shed skin in the park while walking the dog
The innocuous looking plain brown ones about 3ft long are deadly and hard to see...but the spiders see most of them off
So no worries.

..thankfully squirrels are about the most ferocious in our parks.

Which park was that? Stanley Park, Sefton Park, Walton Hall Park - There should be a notice put up.:eek:

There are only 2 types of poisonous snakes in the world. Neither of them are in Australia so it's pretty safe

Pardon me, not poisonous, you can eat them...venomous
