I've had so many smartphones over the years and notice that the more advanced they become the shorter the battery life is. I got so fed up having to take a my charger with me when out for the day that I went back to a Galaxy Note 4 so I could just take a spare battery instead. When I then found I was using up 2 fully-charged batteries in a day I looked for a modern phone with a battery that would last at least all day.

The phone I eventually bought has a battery so big that I haven't plugged the charger in since I unplugged it on the morning of Dec 23rd. That's FIVE full days of constant USE! It's down to 4% now but before I plug it in I thought I'd ask:

What phone do you have? (Ulefone Power 5)

What do you like and/or dislike about it? (Battery life, screen size, came loaded with Android 8 and not much bloatware)

Have you used Android and IOS (iPhones) and if so do you have a preference? (Only ever had Android phones)

I've got a Nokia 6, phone works great and the battery lasts for 3 or 4 days and I use it a fair bit.

For a long time I've used a 4200mAh battery case with all my phones. I'm not bothered at all about the extra bulk it adds, and it gives 2 full recharges. I don't need the latest phone, only recently I upgraded my iphone 5 to a iphone 6 which a friend sold me for £50.

I try to keep it minimal, too. The more apps you download and install the more it canes your battery..

My phone actually looks more like a power pack. The 13,000 mAh battery is in two cells and one can be used to charge another phone. I've got a small no frills Alcatel phone on a different network PAYG SIM that I've used to forward calls when my contract network plays up, but as the Ulefone is a dual SIM phone I put both in it and take the diverted call on it too.

Ive never been one for these fancy Iphones or whatever that cost 500/600/700 or more, the one i had is just a LG phone like the pic below that cost £80 think it was,ive had it for 6 years and the one before that which i cant remember what it was called i had 8 years till it went completely
