small car for daughter, advice needed

I'd go for 15 year old Volvo. Weighs like something coming from the docks of Belfast but can take the iceberg.

Don’t Alfa fall apart?

they are built a bit better these days but she’ll struggle to get insurance without paying a fortune I think mate. Fiat 500 is a cracking little motor for her. Fiesta, Corsa, Polo all good cars but you’ll pay a bit more for the polo and it’s servicing costs. A Seat Ibiza is basically a polo underneath and it will save you a bit of money. Did you get her anything in the end? If it was my money I’d probably get her the Fiat 500, you might get a half decent Smart Car ForFour or Mini but you’ll pay a little more for them. I’m guessing she probably wants an A1, A Class or 1 Series haha. You might get one cheap but it will cost her when she needs parts for it. I’ve got a 67 plate A4 estate and the breaks need doing, it’s going to set me back about £350 for pads and disks so even if she sees one on a good deal it will cost her/you an arm and a leg to keep it on the road and if it is cheap I’d be wondering why

Obvs the Schneid-troll will love this but anyway,

Daughter turns 18 in a week and a half and I am buying her 1st car. Living in a city insurance is high. Want to get her a small car, Fiat 500 type thing.
Does anyone have any experience with this or small cars in general? Not going to break the bank cos it will get battered on our road.

Thanks
Hey mate if you're still looking I've heard Hot Wheels can be cheap and last ages, cheap on insurance too.
