Currently on Sky for phone, internet and tv. Looking at swapping to BT, to save a shedload of money. Would go for Virgin ahead of both but it's not available in our area.

Questions for the voting public

Is there any way to add Sky Sports channels to the BT package?

If so, how much does it cost?

What about channels like Sky 1, Sky Atlantic etc...?

What are the film channels like on BT?

Is this an awkward attempt at a hidden message that you are in fact undecided on your sexuality ?

I had BT for a while, I paid £26 a month for the TV package, including the 2 SS channels that are available (1 & 2)

I went back to Sky in the end as they offered me a ridiculous price & I missed SS in HD

I'd personally see who has the best broadband in your area and go with that!
I have TV packages with Sky but swtiched my broadband to BT after going through all the price comparison stuff and then you got the BT sport for free.

Virgins super douper fiber optic is cack in our area

I think it's an extra £20 a month for the Sky Sports channels. Or £15 if you just pick one. I think it's just Sky Sports 1 and 2 though. You'd also get BT Sport for free if you have BT Broadband. That's one of the reasons we switched, we hardly watch any tv, but I wanted the UFC coverage and BT Sport have all that and are producing their own shows etc. as well, which is good.

We have just moved to BT ourselves. BT Infinity 2, if you go through Topcashback you get £110 cash back, BT were also doing £100 sainsbury voucher for joining their broadband as well. Not sure if that is still on at that value, as this was the other week. But £210 cashback and a cheaper price, for much quicker broadband seemed decent. Averaging 72mb download and 19mb upload at the minute, through WIFI, while watching BT Sport, which is a million times better than what we got with Sky.

been with them all, bt and sky are better customer service, currently with virgin, but just scratch the surface and all isnt as good as it seems, download limits, throttling and never getting the right speeds, just go for the best broadband, and google skybox f3 or xbmc box for you tv needs, or if you know anybody kind enough get there sky to go log in and put it on your x box, loads of ways to save money.
