Sky TV bundle

Hoping someone could help me out here. We've got the full package thing in ours but the sky box is rubbish and always freezes. I seen an ad in the paper saying they will give a new sky box and a tablet or £100 voucher to new customers. I was wondering if I could get this in my name & cancel our existing deal.
Would they allow it or be funny and not do it because it's the same household? Does anyone have a clue before i waste my time phoning them

If you ring them up and tell them you are leaving cos of this offer they will give you loads of discounts and stuff, just keep mentioning the 5bn TV rights offer they have to pay and watch their arses go.

Otherwise, just jib em off and go to Virgin, whos Broadband pisses all over Skys anyway.

I'll give it a go. Want a 100 to spend on Amazon an a new box off them haha, wish me luck. We've got talk talk internet and it's pretty s**t. Not sure what Virgin tv is like tbh

My mar had talk talk, it was forever down, Virgin TV seems ok, I personally dont watch tele, but the kids and missus seem to enjoy it.

Same, because the calls to canada are cheap. It will probably be just the same as sky minus the footy I'd imagine, I just watch Netflix most of the time anyway

I rang up and told them I was looking to reduce my bill (£75 a month) and considering going to BT where the broadband is far superior and I can get BT sport free.

She countered by offering to add Sky Sports HD and faster broadband for an extra tenner a month.

I was genuinely confused and told her I'd have to think about it.

Buy a second hand box on eBay... Iv done it a few times because sky box free view is miles better than normal...

Trying to squeeze more money out of you then. Doesn't look likely that I'll get anything from them here.
