Only two wins behind the RS. If they lose tomorrow (I hope Rooney scores a hattrick and reveals an Everton shirt under his United kit!), we'll have a game in hand to make the difference up too.

Their remaining fixtures are:

United (A) 1pt
Sunderland (H) 3pts
Birmingham (A) 1pt
Fulham (H) 3pts
West Ham (H) 3pts
Burnley (A) 3pts
Chelsea (H) 1pt
Hull (A) 3pts

69pt total. If we win all our remaining games we'd finish on 69pts. Fingers crossed someone can pull a surprise win off against them.

Our goal difference is 13 inferior to theirs at the minute.

The highlighted games I think they have real chance of dropping points, and will go Ultra-Anti-Football.

Its those games we have to start making the difference up in our own games.

Mikel Arteta showed his class today, and Heitinga for me.

Those two, were NOT going to be drop points or lose today.

Mikel's free kick was brilliant. Keeper never even moved.

I can see them dropping points at Burnley and Hull, both away in the final few games of the season. These teams will be fighting for their lives and the RS will no longer have any hope of finishing fourth. I also think they'll lose today, I think they'll finish closer to 64/65 points.

I can't see it to be honest. We still look a bit fragile away from home and our lack of clean sheets is worrying, teams are very capable of scoring against us.

I think we'll have a strong finish to the season but I can't see us finishing above Liverpool. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Much better(y). remember hull and westham will have some backfire from now on since they fight for survival and RS are their biggest motivation to kill(y)

ive done a list of the last 81 games , gone through them compared current form and past form and it looks like liverpool will perhaps beat us to 7th on goal difference.

1 Chelsea, 89
2 Man Utd, 88
3 Arsenal, 86
4 Man City, 70
5 Tottenham, 67
6 Aston Villa, 67
7 Liverpool, 64
8 Everton, 64
9 Birmingham, 59
10 Fulham, 55
11 Stoke City, 42
12 Sunderland, 41
13 Blackburn, 36
14 Bolton, 35
15 West Ham Utd, 35
16 Wigan Athletic, 33
17 Wolves, 31
18 Hull City, 27
19 Burnley , 26
20 Portsmouth , 21

i have man city beating us though , if that result is different then we would finish 7th (joint points with 4th 5th and 6th but having likely a worse goal difference) 3 points clear of liverpool.

but by some sick twist of fate liverpool will probably end up winning the europa league and only the top 6 will go through to europe.

(imo ive got the man utd vs chelsea game as a draw, whoever wins that game should win the prem)
