He's massively reduced the size of the site so the backup is now tiny by comparison so if it happens, it'll be much shorter but he also said the site shouldnt be inaccessible at all and he did some database work which he thinks may resolve it so we'll see.

Only way we'll know is when it happens and I'll be asleep so hopefully you guys can tell me.

Bang on 6PM for me, like clockwork, which is my GoT primetime after work, so I'll know soon enough.

Pretty sure it's local issue but if don't get to the bottom of it/others report issue it I'll check the ignore add on.

Memory browser crash is a pretty common browser crash though.

Pretty sure that's the case now as it felt like a good 10+ mins before the snappiness returned, but less than 10 recently I believe ( I run across it daily)...wouldn't get crashes, just time-outs., as if the sever wasn't responding because it was busy; then bam...all good again. Like you, thought it was routine backup due to the repeating daily pattern, especially time.

It wouldnt load for a minute or so. Could have been my end though.

Went to like that Cloudflare page. I hit F5 and it just took a minute or two to load, but crashed instead. Worked after another load. (Other tabs worked fine) on Chrome.
