Sir Matt Busby would have been 100 Today

I remember the minutes silence at old trafford shortly after his death in 1994

I remember the piper coming out of the Stretford End tunnel, leading the teams as in one long line United and Everton players stood together for the minute's silence

Nowhere in the crowd was the silence broken. When it was over, the United fans applauded Everton's supporters whose complete silence was impeccable and a credit to Everton Football club

I will never forget that day

I met him and Bobby Charlton years ago ('75, I think) at Old trafford.
I remember my dad was in awe of both of them and Sir Matt give me a Man U badge - A stewards badge he called it, which I left in the Little chef on the way home.
