I think we actually had about the same number of points in more games when he came here the first time around.

Yes, we are 'different' to his last time here, squad wise. But he's not coming here with his eyes closed. The Fod, as you all know, has been keeping very close tabs on our situation via t.v, media, twitter and personal interaction with Cahill / Neville. Unlike mercenaries, who will happily sit on a bench anywhere, as long as the cheque clears, L.D is chomping at the bit to pull on the treasured and much lauded #9 Royal Blue Shirt once more. I genuinely believe he wishes it was permanent. The only difference this time around is positioning.
First time around we had a rota of strikers to chose from and goals were coming from midfield, Landon's was seen as a 'supplier' and extra man in the box. This time around, although we are in a similar league position, our form is very fragile and incoherent. Out of form players in wrong positions, like for like substitutions when a tactical change would be preferable and the all too frustrating late 'blooding' of players with ten minutes or less to play.
I welcome the return of Landon so much so, I've bought the shirt and dusted down the Stars and Stripes flag that I so proudly waved in the Upper Bullens, last time around. But as he plane starts to taxi - I almost feel sorry for him. Previously, he came to many of us as an unknown entity, he was Mr Captain America, the name we all knew but knew nothing to little about, this time - we are practically resting the future of our beleaguered season, on his weary shoulders. I just hope the pressure doesn't translate and he does 'hit the ground' running, the expectation is palpable this time around. Let's hope he doesn't crack, especially if Moyes chooses to play him totally out of position to satisfy his 'boys own club members'![]()
With Lando coming in I'd like to see Moyes go for a game or two. *gasp* I know. What a shocking statement. If he doesn't go for the throat against Bolton I'm gonna hurl myself from my roof.
Anyone objecting to this lineup of mine?

Saha is the best we've got right now. Vellios is still a little too raw, but I think with Donovan and Drenthe on the wings he might begin to recieve the service he needs to be better than his past form. Though that isn't saying much. Hibbo stays because of recent form, but I wouldn't be so hesitant to see if Coleman can take the spot.
I don't fancy Hibbo at left back mate...or Baines at right back

Oi, did it in a hurry. Can't get caught here at work posting. So I threw it all down real fast. Fixed now.
Donovan is best when playing on the left or as a withdrawn striker. He has little experience playing as a central midfielder and is less influential playing on the right side. I doubt Moyes starts him against Bolton after just a few days of training, but I hope that I'm underestimating good old Moyesey. Landon is not a savior, but he should improve the mentality of wanting to ATTACK!
Wratho - got my shirt! It's awesome and looks great (though when they said small, they meant small. Hope it doesn't shrink).
Tight fitting is better for wapage.
