Sir Landon Of Donovan

This has cheered me up a little (and that isn't easy!). Donavan is a very good player and can turn a game, we don't have that at the moment.

I remember watching him play for the USA national team (can't remember who against) and the USA team wasn't performing and being outplayed next thing donavan started to ask for the ball more and started pulling the strings and the match turned.
not many players can do that,i think some people underestimate how good he is.

It's great to hear that LD will be coming for another visit. I'll be stayin' up all night to watch it.
But unfortunately, he is two years older and Moyes loves Hibbert.
Will LD have the same effect? Or will the pressure to do well (taking in our current situation), have an adverse effect.
I hope that DM takes the opportunity top give Coleman a two month stint at right back, giving him the chance to prove himself.
It would be fantastic to see Seamus overlapping LD. With both players wanting to cut inside and outside, they could be running defences ragged.
Sadly, the LD time will only mask over the problems we face, sort of like shovin' somethin' nice up yer nose for a quick fix. But if it can help us secure prem football next year, just do it.

I dont think that's ever been in serious doubt.

It's the very short term aspect of this deal which is a concern. It's depressing to see the club having to stoop to these type of grandstand signings in lieu of actually building a squad to replace the one being torn down bit by bit. That's no criticism of Donovan, just the reality of the situation.

Good player and some decent news.

Just wish it was longer than 6 games.

He obviously would like to play for us as well so that makes it even more frustrating.

If I recall when he came two years ago when he came we were in a worse league position than now, albeit WITH Pienaar and Arteta. Buzzin about this tho!

Good to have him back, hopefully he can have a similar impact as his first spell here but we do need to sign a permanent player for the right side as Donovan is only a short term fix.
