Simon Ross replaced by Graeme White as the EFC stadium announcer

White said on Twitter he's been appointed the new announcer, replacing Rossy. White also hosts the Fan Zone before games.

End of an era - Rossy has been the announcer for the last 15 years. The voice of the Moyes years.

Ladies and gentleman, 'show your appreciation' for Simon Ross.

I did too. Some people didn't but I always liked his 'show your appreciation for... Player x' whenever somebody got subbed, even if they'd been playing rubbish.

Wonder if this is related to Radio City dropping live footy coverage?

I loved Simon Ross's voice.

I remember when he called us Liverpool on the PA and all of Goodison groaned together.

nothing can beat the guy at anfield! he's worse than that guy off father ted who has the most boring voice in the world. love his drony voice reading out aston villa's goalscorer when they again take the lead there - fits the mood perfectly.

Rossy has been ill I'm sure he is ok now but it was a major surgery that he had. He is probably taking things easy at the end of the day no matter what anyone says about him he is a massive Evertonian therefore one of us. As above 'show your appreciation for Simon Ross'
