Hi,

Im doing a module at Uni where I have to evaluate the economic and financial performance of a football club... Luckily I get to do The Mighty Blues.

One on the questions we have to answer is:

1. Analyse the economic, financial and business implications of any significant events affecting your specified club during the period January – April 2011

I just wondered if anyone would be able to give any ideas of things that have effected them. Most people have looked at transfers in January and changes of mangers, but due to the fact Everton didn't really spend and Moyes had been with Everton for the last 9 years, Im not sure what other significant events there are.

Any Help would be amazing, Cheers

Err hang on. You're not spike.

I thought this was Spike.

But it isn't Spike.
spike? SPIKE?
This is spike-lite.
Alright spike?
WAIT THIS IS NOT SPIKE.

:(
What have you done with spike lad?

I, for one, welcome our new Spike overlords.

This new version may take some getting used to, but I'm not scared of change.

All extremely helpful answers !

What about talking about the revenue gained in the cup run, perhaps player bonuses for reaching a certain stage and how the exit affected the clubs finances. We let our 2nd biggest ever signing leave the club on loan to a Championship club, i'd say thats fairly significant, so you could talk about wages saved and any implications that may have on the overall wage bill, and future player investments.
