old news this is, we know about this signing for a while, just OS never confirm this piece of news.

I imagine this piece of news was announce to make our fans feel better, trying to prove to us they are making effort in signing new player.

They are just buying time from the unhappy fans, is not working for me at all, until they sign another player that could be used in our starting line-up right away.
 
My guess is that he'll figure for the reserve but will never be even close to the first team (how many stirkers are ahead of him? Yak, Saha, Jo, Vaugn, Anichibe, Baxter, Agard and prob Cahill and Big Fella as well), and he'll leave at the end of the season.
 
like i said the other week , a lot of american fans have mentioned that arnoux does show a bit of talent , hes more hyped than peterlin for instance.

he pops up a few times in this vid.

i love the goal he sets up at around 3 minutes in. created out of nothing but closing down and pouncing on a shakey defender , pure speed and skill and a decent cross.
 

Clearly states he's going into the reserves. I think this 1-year deal is just to let Moyes inspect him further, to see how he does manage our style of play and have what it takes.
 
Agreed that he'll be a reserves player and Moyes will use the time to study him more closely. But I don't agree that he'll likely be gone at the season's end; I suspect Moyes hopes to develop these American players into first teamers on down the line.
