It only does it in threads you post after you've changed it rather than all of your posts like on most sites

Not strictly true. The sig section will be updated on all posts, but you will need to have checked the 'include signature' option on those previous posts. If you've chosen to use a signature previously then any changes will be across them all, but if you havn't then any changes will only occur on an ongoing basis.

Fair enough, I stand corrected. I just remember when I changed mine it didn't come up until after I'd posted & wasn't in any of my old posts
