Gift them to a local care home, they can always use extra washing products and stuff for elderly that've got limited nearby family.

I’ll probably take them to the homeless hostel I was working at, the young residents there would benefit from them

On the Roman theme, my mrs bought me one of them city mystery books for Chester. You have to start at a certain point in the city and follow the clues or solve the puzzles to move on to the next part of the city. It’s a great way to see points of interest.
