I'm getting much better at ignoring the temptation to click on "Show ignored content", but still have the odd weak moment.

I'll be massively disappointed if "Show ignored content" doesn't appear at the bottom of this page when I have a look at it tomorrow.

But generally when I do click it, I am reminded why I chose ignore in the first place.

I have 12 on ignore. Chances are a few have been banned by now. I have a rule which basically says if I've reported them three times and they've not been banned, then I stick 'em on ignore and wait till the mods ( who are much more patient than I am ) deal with 'em.

I barely read anything anymore anyway. I just pop in and out now. I approach every thread like a Chico preview.

I only use the ignore function for posters that bore me, so don't see the point on viewing ignored content. Chances are it is just a post saying Yer ma, or Carl Tiler or some other boring crap
