Should we let him go now that he wants out?

Should we take the money and move on?

The lad is just 21, has shot quickly to massive premier league stardom, and has probably been told a move to Chelsea cannot be turned down by his agent. Everton then refuse to sell. He must be aware of the unrest it's all causing, probably scrambling his brain.

At 21 he's not mature enough to make a considered decision under such pressure. Everton are doing the right thing to stick to their guns. Once it's all settled down after the window is shut, the lad can regroup and start enjoying himself again.

Sky and their money are ruining the premier league, and make clubs think they can buy anyone as long as they offer enough. Let's hope everton stand firm......

Tough one, I would like the Club to remain strong, however if a player hands a transfer request in I don't care who they are they can shut the door on their way out. so to answer the question yes.

We can't really sell him after Roberto's comments last night. He's taking a stance on this and can't back down now. Think we would have gone for different transfer targets if we had an extra £30-40m to spare as well. Reckon he'll go next summer though.
