We should deffo give them a guard of honour , line up and sing to the tune of Half A Sixpence ....

Half a season can only mean half a trophy
But half a trophy is better than none
It's a token of
What you should have won
When it's far away just get Klopp to say
"Though half a season can only mean half a trophy
Remember than half a trophy is better than none
It's not with you cos of Corona flu "
But Blues know that it's because karma from 1985 has finally come back to yoooouuuu !

I have not been keeping track of this, what is the latest permutation please?

It's made it more likely unless a total cancellation happens. If it restarts and they play someone before our rearranged game then it gives them an opportunity to win it at Goodison. It is possible our fixture could be the first game then it is status quo, unless City play a few games first (and falter). If our game is the 3rd/4th after resumption then likely they will have already won it.

Hopefully we get the cancellation of the season.

What a relief, I was dreading having to sing praises as the Everton players abject themselves and us in a guard of honour.

Makes no odds.
Unless all games are completed by all clubs in all connected leagues nobody is going anywhere or being awarded anything.

Premiere league signed up to the the rules and regulations when it was formed from the old 1st division and is tied into it.

Doesn’t matter what anyone says about who ‘deserves’ what, unless it falls into the regulations of what has been previously set down in the rules the only way any club is deemed to be champions or position in the league re prize money or relegation/promotion is if all clubs complete their designated fixtures.

It’s not the first time the league has been abandoned/voided and like the last time everyone has to suck it up.

As it is increasingly inevitable that the season cannot be completed, a campaign must be started to insist that the bottom 3 teams are relegated should a decision be taken to award the RS the league title. The row that West Ham would raise is likely to have that decision reversed and the season will be cancelled. The crazy guard of honour idea can then be consigned to the dustbin of history. They could make a movie out of it. "The one that never was".

Could find as many coronavirus carriers and give them a guard of honour coughing at them.

Or is that a step too far?
