Someone of the old regime should remain to brief the new manager who won't have a clue who some of our players are. Dunc might be the only survivor. I don't really care if they keep him or not.

I’m no stool pigeon but I suspect one of the many reincarnations of @butters may have played nefarious hand in his appointment. For what it’s worth I have come around to being a devoted member of ‘team Vitor’ and fully expect that handsome Portu-geezer to be our next magnificent manager.
All I’ll say is the cheese and toast that’s been adopdeted in the board room has a lot to do with our problems.

Will probably be kept on regardless in a 'bridge, because he knows the club' role as he has with the last few managers.

Almost like he is the common denominator in these managerial changes.
Successive managers seem to mistakenly believed that associating themselves with the galoot hands them some connection with the values of the club. In reality he was a bit part player in a cup run that got us our last silverware and a nuisance who got himself sent off enough times to ensure we were fighting for our lives in a relegation scrap.

Exactly. I mean big dunc's done alright. But let's not go overboard with him. Yeah he was all blood and thunder and I respect that some blues think that makes him some kinda legend.
But imho he's not. And no he shouldn't need to be a bridge between a new manager and current players. What's he done to warrant this? Nothing I can think of
