So, with all of these big names we are interested in, some more than others, and with our new found wealth should we be playing hardball with agents and adopt a sign it or move on attitude?

It just seems that the lesser attractive clubs get on with their signings, the super rich sign whoever they want and we seem to be stuck in the middle.

Adopting a tougher option may not always get the player we want but if nothing else it gets the answer so that we can move on....

Yeah - good point. We'd lose out on a few early doors, but then the players and their agents would get the message and be forced into quicker decisions. Equally we lose out by giving them time to negotiate and look around elsewhere - so in both aspects - yeah - I agree.

Who have any of the lesser attractive clubs signed who you would be happy with us getting though? Exactly. The really good players have loads of clubs after them. I'd like to think we're shopping in Harrods, where it's extremely competitive,we could go to Marksy's where it wouldn't be as competitive but wouldnt be as good either. Patience, young man.
