Rumours in the press the other day about Moyes being offered a new contract http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2039771/David-Moyes-offered-new-Everton-contract.html

Seems as though the City game rubbed people up the wrong way, added to the contradictory nature of some of his press conferences seem to fuel the fire of the lack of support to and from the board.

Some believe we have a good young squad hampered by "negative" tactics. Some say we're doing well with what we've got.

This isnt a "Moyes out!" poll, but a reaction to the reaction from the weekend which has suddenly flipped the nature of the plucky Everton team into a bunch of "anti-football" hatchet merchants.

Bad timing with the derby coming up (and I expect it to go off Vietnam style on this page) but who believes we'd be better or worse without David Moyes for another 5-10 years?

Money in your mouth time to put an end to last weekends bickering!

He's driving me up the wall to be honest. He keeps making the same mistakes and he's just so, so dour, tactically. And off the pitch I used to think he came across as suave, composed and quite likeable. Now he comes across like a bratty teenager, and generally like a tit.

That said, until we get serious investment (lol) he's probably the best man for the job. I just wish he'd rethink some of his strategies and utilise the talent he's so commendably assembled, before it all falls apart. And it is seemingly falling apart, because "our best ever team" from last year's lost a few key members of late and it just wreaks of an opportunity missed. I still believe in our squad though, I just want Moyes to make me believe in him again.

He was a breath of fresh air when he came in, made us all believe again after the dire Walter Smith shambles. Thanks for the memories Davie.

Not that arsed if he stays or goes now, tbh. If he does decide to stay on and claim a raise on his £65K pw, can he please stop making gobshite statements that it's him making the decisions on selling the squad from underneath him.

I think his time at the club is rapidly coming to an end. It takes a very rare manager in the mould of Sir Alex Ferguson to continually revive a side and I simply do not believe Moyes has the toolset to do so. His initial work was very good but it's been three years since he showed any sort of acumen in the job.

I think for all concerned he should stop using us as a stopgap until a bigger job becomes available and leave sooner rather than later, so that the club can revitalise itself - hopefully with a new board - and enter a new era.

Everton shouldn't be all about David Moyes. Currently, it is, and his ego is destroying us from within. We need to become a football club again rather than one mans plaything.

Moyes has took us from relegation battlers to top 4 contenders in his time at the club, it's only the last couple of years we've been unable to challenge for top 4 and that's through no fault of Moyes, it's simply because we don't have the money that the other clubs do, Bearing in mind, Moyes has made some cracking signings despite the financial situation at hand. It seems as though alot of blues are negative bastards ragrding Moyes but i really do think we would have been royally ****ed if the man hadn't saved us from Smith. The foundations at Everton are laid, it's just a matter of building up our squad, money or not, however long it takes. Moyes is the future at Everton and i, for one, would be gutted to see him go elsewhere.

Quite possibly the worst and most agenda filled utter dross ive read since the last time you posted something.

You see, I disagree. Well, maybe not about top 4 -- the financial gap has become far too large, and that's not Moyes' fault -- but last season and the one before we really did have the squad to do more than finish 8th and 7th.

His tactical deficiencies and groundhog day mistakes really cost us, I think.
