Should i have offered the money and should it have been accepted?

Was i right to offer the money for the meal and should they have accepted?

Offer to take them for a meal with the money when everyone is fit and healthy again.
Enjoy each others company and forget any of this happened.

Use the money to have some flowers and a bottle of bubbly delivered to them. @tommye will deliver them for you…..

Return the money with an even bigger bag of goodies and see if you can drag this out longer. In about 2 years you will be returning the 180 quid but the bags of goodies will have turned into Lamborghini Gallardo's and the like as you's try to out do each other.
