Player Valuation: £8m
With silly season soon upon us when rumours and dreams abound, I have to find a rational way to deal with the info (and ****e) we are feed which led me to thinking where does Moyes usually go shopping for players.

Championship, Div 1, Div 2 for sure (Cahill, Stones, Jags etc,)
Premier League (Distin, Utd's surplus etc.)
Greece (Vellios, Mirallas)
SPL (Jelavic, Naismith, Kennedy)

Fellaini (Belgium League), Heitinga (La Liga), Pienaar 1st time (Bundesliga) .. being rare excursions from the norm

Can we rely on the usual MO to make sense of the madness ?

'Shopping with Moyes' aka 'BOSMAN-IA'~!

I really don't think it's too much to assume that we have scouts covering each of the top 10 European leagues:

Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Pro League, Serie A, La Liga, Primeira Liga, Bundesliga, Super Lig, Russian Premier League & Swiss Super League

as well as having plenty around the club with extensive knowledge of the British leagues.

It's more a case of where cheap players will come from.

Ligue 1, Eredivisie - Good players, mostly ageing leagues though. Young players are expensive.
Bundesliga - Becoming quite expensive because of the up and coming nature of the league.
Belgium - Cheap to buy from, lower in quality.
Turkish, Swiss leagues - Some good players mixed with some absolute dross - hard to judge true quality.
La Liga - becoming cheaper and a good option, although fitness issues of players.
Serie A - Expensive league to buy the best players.
Portugese - Unless you buy form the top teams you're unlikely to find true quality players.
Russian League - The trouble with buying from the russian league can be summed up in one word:Bilyaletdinov

And we all know how expensive the Premier League is to buy from.

Straq, Drenthe, Oviedo, Frei, Negreto and dozens of others have all been scouted before being bought in or not. Our eyes see further than Sauron.
