Player Valuation: Free Transfer
I seem to recall some years back a rather well-fed Evertonian going onto the pitch during a match, and offerring to exchange shirts with an underperforming foreign import. Can anyone remind me who the player was, and which match this was?

Thanks

LCAB is spot on mate. At Highbury, the guy was sitting directly in front of me. Was well out of it all the first half. Then he dissappeared and i saw him hop the barrier unchallenged and offer his shirt to Alex Nyarko who was so disgusted he tried to walk off and was eventually substituted within a few minutes. I don't think he ever played for us again after that.

Incorrect Muggins.

He did appear again once or twice under Moyes before he moved on. One of the highlights of his return being the 30-yarder he crashed against the bar against Bolton at home, a game we lost 0-2 iirc.

someone did it to Pat Nevin at Wembley as well in '89, then went calmly back to his seat.

Didn't Nyarko say he was gonna retire from Football after that game, then like two days later he modified his statement and said he would keep playing, just not for Everton?

didn't score then?

Yeah i had a feeling he showed his face again but he dissappeared for a while, went and played for Monaco and PSG for a couple of years, then decided to come back and play again. 11 appearances i think t0ffe3m4n so not far off lad. He didn't like the physical game at all which is a bit strange for a big fella....
