i can just imagine the guys behind this trying to sell it to a studio in the US

"right guys we've got this idea for a film, the aim is to make something so f***in gash that idiots around the world all buy into it because they believe its "totally lolz" and "so random". We can make it on a tiny budget without a care in the world for quality and we won't even have to spend a penny on marketing other than the trailer because as soon as we put that up on youtube all the thickos on the internet will jump all over it and be like "oh these guys so crazzzzy, sharknado ftw, best film evaaaaar". Of course they will eventually watch it and realise it wasn't lols and was infact gash and a waste of 90 minutes of their life but that won't matter cbecause we can then just hit them with a new trailer to its sequel and the idiots will lap it up all over again... sorted"
