Agree, they have theceasiest run in and new manager bounce from rodgers.
He joined at the ideal time, he probably looked at the fixture list and saw it as the ideal opportunity to build momentum

They've got Arsenal, City and Chelsea last 3 games so I don't think it's a given for them to finish 7th yet.

Chickens should not be counted, oh I know I am looking on the dark side but that is what supporting Everton does to you after nigh on 70 years.

Europe is great and is a lot more financially lucrative now than it was before. We should be getting into a position where we are getting it every year and solidifying a financial gap between the likes of us and Leicester West Ham etc.

I don’t think we’ll do it this season though. Wolves have points on the board and a game in hand on us. If we’d held on against Newcastle then maybe but we’re probably looking at beating Arsenal and United at home to have any chance.

I actually think our toughest games left are Spurs away and Palace away.

Arsenals defence is poor and Utd on their day can either be great or poor (Watford should have beat them yesterday)

I think if the players come out from the 1st whistle in our home games against the above two the fans will be up for it and we have a chance of getting a good result. Spurs will tonk us however and Palace are a bogeyside for us especially at their gaff.

I think Wolves or Leicester will grab 7th as that Newcastle game will imo ultimately cost us. I dont think its ideal for Leicester mind and for Rodgers preparations considering he's just walked into the job then has the early rounds to cope with along with the summer recruitment.

We literally need to go on a Ole Gunnar style crazy run to have a chance and hope sides around us drop points.

We need at least 12 points from the last 6 games. Gonna be hard but I think we’re starting to peak at the right time

Whatever happens I don’t think Europa League would be good for us next season.

We’re rebuilding and we’ve badly struggled this season whilst showing flashes of our potential. Adding 10+ fixtures to the season would have an adverse effect on us overall I think.
We need to quit approaching it as a priority in the early rounds and focus it as second priority until knockout stages. It is the perfect chance to give the young players (Vlasic, Davies, Kenny, Onyekuru, Lookman and Feeney) some run. If we approach it as we did under Koeman, it will probably not be beneficial. I’d like to think Silva is wiser than that and will refrain from overusing players. Maybe start Gana and Gomes to give us a solid foundation in the middle. Otherwise, it is a chance to test our depth.

I want us to win as many games as possible and hopefully qualify for Europe. I don't understand why any Everton fan wouldn't want us to get into Europe. More money, sponsorship, the ability to attract better players. It is not as if we play every Saturday anyway

Another issue is the dross that is out of contract will be needed to cover extra games.
If you want Europa welcome back Ash Willams, Mirralas....etc
