Just started BSG S3 and it is superb. I have just watched the single best episode on TV that I have ever seen (Lost, season 1 included!)

mentioned earlier today

OZ

grim, gritty and a bit another word beginning with 'G'.

lost & heroes have occasional moments.

branson has been pushing 'the sarah connor chronicles', but im not hooked, its a bit [Poor language removed] really.

can i add, to my great detriment that there was a time i watched 'nip tuck'. for a while it punched its weight, and had some decent babes in it, but trash is trash.

Is OZ that series set in a U.S. penitentiary?

If so, id second Suits suggestion. It was class and reflected, I think, what life is like in U.S. prisons (which make ours look like Butlins). Even the sordid, sick and unpalatable sides of life in those institutions (racial gangs, homosexual rape etc) is portrayed in it. Very, very gritty

I know I need help but when I finish on the net its usually 5 am ish and then I watch Snowy moutain on telly sado or what but it sends me to sleep:lol:

yes stu, that 'OZ'.

its brutal, and rather trashy, and the channel four execs that messed around with its scheduling ought to get a week or ten there.

I watched a brilliant piece tonight, The Curse of Steptoe, it is a series the Beeb are running on some old shows and stars. It was basically no holds barred and Jason Issac's was bloody fantastic as Harry H Corbertt, I think its available to view now on BBCi, its well worth a look.

I saw that too, it was a bloody good show.

:D

Also looking forward to the Tony Hancock drama, should be good.

BBC4 is fast turning into a spiffing channel.

Yes that one and the Frankie Howard one with David Walliams, BEEB 4 is the new BEEB 2, son:lol:(y)

Will they be doing Tommy Cooper Monts ?

I'm not sure there are four programmes in the series, Tony Hancock is next, he was round the twist followed by Frankie Howard but I don't know what the other one is:o
