I've signed the Zlat on a free on FM for Everton.

He's 33 but he's still an absolute beast

Neither rely massively on pace but instead their natural ability, physique and well... arrogance.

1-0 Milan but should have been 2-0. Buffon pulls off a string of saves but then quickly grabs the ball mid-air and pulls it down. Replays show it went over the line. Straight from that he throws it out and Juve counter, Abiatti making a fine save to preserve the lead.

End to end stuff here, and yet another game highlighting that Italian football these days is NOT boring and is in fact pretty darn entertaining.

Yeh I've seen a few boring Italian games this year.

I was generalising. I've also seen some utter turd games in the premier league this year -- for starters, most of our games! -- but the consensus is that it's an exciting league. Meanwhile there's this outdated notion still prevalent on this forum (from what I've seen) that Italian football is all about defending and is boring.

Overall, from what I've seen this year especially, the general standard in Serie A is great.

Actually I apologise for being a bit aggressive there. I don't give a sh*t what people think about Serie A because I have no connection to it personally!

I do wish, as a fan of football and talking about football with others, than some peeps would give it a chance (or another chance) and let it change their pre-conceptions. That's all really.
