I've been living & working here in Kyiv for the past 2 & a half years. Be in no doubt - the Ukrainian league is utter bobbins.

Both milans, juve, Napoli, Roma udinese and lazio v manx, rs, arse, spurs, Chelsea and us???

I'm not basing this on any statistic but for me Id feel more confident backing those Italian teams. I think also the lower league sides in la Liga and serie a are stronger. That's why EPL teams never Do well really in the Europa league.

....typos left right and centre, on my birds iPad I hate touch screen!

I'd agree with you mate.

But hypotheticals aside, I'm glad to see someone else likes Italian footie. Do you follow any team in particular?

I follow Italian footy a bit too, it's always on ESPN. Wouldn't say I followed any team really but I have my favourite players - Ibrahimovic, KP Boateng, Lavezzi, Vidal, Krasic, Chiellini, Lamela, Coutinho, Forlan, Maicon, Micolli etc. If I had to pick I'd say Juventus.

The German league's boss too.

GOOOOOOOOOALLAAAAZZIIIOOO

This. Never missed it in the 90s when it was on Channel 4. It was the alternative Sunday afternoon football fayre for those of us that didn't have Sky. There were some great Milan and Juve teams and Inter missed out on the title every year. The Italian League attracted the best players in the world then. There were some boring games but some great ones as well. Haven't seen it since it disappeared to some expensive premium satellite channel.

I used to watch it on my mum and dad's bed when I was tiny and it was just about the only word I could say. Used to just roll round the house screaming 'GOOOOOAALLLLAAZZIIOOO' at people. Good times.

Serie A is easily better than the Prem at the moment in terms of quality, still behind in entertainment tho. Disappoints me how **** our league is now.

I watch Milan purely for Zlatan and Boateng. I love Forlán long time but sadly he's not been able to get going yet. Juve have some quality as well — I'm glad Krasic didn't go to Spuds.

Lavezzi is easily my favourite player to watch though. He's basically a Tevez/Messi fusion. Obviously not as good but I mean he dribbles like Lionel but he's he built like a brick sh*thouse and has an incredible work rate. He's got to be one of the fastest players in world football too. He had a boss game tonight.

Our league, and the Spanish one, aren't competitive enough.

It must be amazing to support a Bundesliga team, for example. You'd see 1st as the limit rather than 7th.

And I so would

I'm a Napoli fan too mate.

Cavani would get it like but Ezequiel is the real Naples dream boat.
