The Italian league has fallen in the past ten or so years, I think most will agree. But recently I've found myself watching quite a lot of it, and I've got to say there's some great entertainment to be found.
Whilst you say the teams at the very top aren't up to the same level as those in England or Spain, the top 7 or so are absolutely excellent. AC Milan are looking fantastic at the moment (as their dismantling of Arsenal showed) and Juventus are having a cracking season, which is long overdue for them to be fair. On top of that there's quality teams like Lazio, Udinese and Roma all pushing for Europe and that's without even mentioning Inter Milan. They lost again tonight and are having a tough season, but that only adds to the excitement for a neutral.
And of course there's Napoli. They're my favourite 'other' team and they beat Fiorentina 0-3 tonight in style. I reckon they'll do Chelsea good and proper next week, and when you consider that win only takes Napoli up to 6th (temporarily as well) then I think it's fair to say Serie A boasts a lot of quality.
So, any other fans of the league on here?
