Football Fans. We are all a fickle bunch. Look at the Arteta treatment last weekend, however we got in his head early doors and after the badge kissing celebration at Emirates it was possibly justified, what goes aroudn comes around etc Think Baines reaction to an old team mate was superb too, however I digress.
As fickle as fans can be, I used to love seeing Marouane Fellaini balancing the ball on his awkward frame and getting in the oppo's face. Was unplayable first game of last season v United. His was a limited likeability though as for all his good, he had bags of awful too.
Therefore when he was sold, unlike in the past with sales of the likes of Speed, Ferguson, Arteta and Cahill, I was not moved in any way whatsoever. It became more apparent towards the end that he believed in his hype far too much (not as much as Bendtner) and pretty much tried to engineer that move. I know that United fans arent too impressed though he will probably come good in the end with as many suspensions as goals.
By signing him for £27mil David Moyes gave Evertonians a great parting gift. Cheers Davey, now lets see some of that fee re-invested in the summer please Bill !!!!!!!!
